DESCRIPTION:WHAT:\nFor those who have experienced the death of a loved one and need grief support services\, the Pathways of HopeSM Grief Counseling Center is offering a bereavement workshop\, “How to Talk With Our Children About Death\, Dying and Grief.” \nDavid Hargrave\, LSW\, CCTP\, CGCS\, bereavement counseling professional with Ohio’s Hospice\, will lead the workshop. Hargrave has significant experience and expertise in assisting children\, adolescents and adults with grief. \nParticipants will learn about how children grieve\, age-appropriate responses when discussing grief and loss with children\, how to support a grieving child\, and when to make a referral. \nWHEN:\nMonday\, September 9\, 2024\n5:30-6:45 pm \nWHERE:\nOhio’s Hospice\n1900 Akron Rd.\nWooster\, Ohio 44691 \nCOST:\nFree and open to the public. \nHOW:\nWhile the event is free and open to the public\, registration is required.
