SUMMARY:2026 Camp Pathways
DESCRIPTION:Register Online \nWHAT:\nA weekend of support and fun for grieving children and teens. Offered to families in the Southwest Ohio region\, Dayton and surrounding areas. \nCamp Pathways is a unique experience designed to encourage children and teens to express their feelings of grief in a safe and fun environment. Professional grief counselors and trained volunteers lead group sessions and activities. Some of the benefits of the camp are: \n\nAn opportunity to be with other kids and teens who also have experienced the death of a loved one.\nGroup support time that provides grief activities.\nLots of fun\, age appropriate outdoor activities such as swimming\, games\, and arts and crafts.\nA memorial service that honors the memory of the loved one.\n\nWHEN:\nFriday\, June 26\, 2026 through Sunday\, June 28\, 2026\nDay camp\, not overnight \nWHERE:\nCamp Joy Outdoor Education Center\n10117 Old 3C Hwy.\nClarksville\, OH 45113 \nCOST:\nThis camp program is available at no cost\, thanks to the generous support from our community. \nTRANSPORTATION:\nTransportation will be provided from Ohio’s Hospice | Dayton campus to and from camp on the 26th and 27th\, and to camp on the 28th with parents picking up from camp that day.\nFriday\, June 26: Parent drop off at Dayton Campus 7:15-7:45am; pick up from Dayton Campus 5:15-5:30 pm\nSaturday\, June 27: Parent drop off at Dayton Campus 7:15-7:45am; pick up from Dayton Campus 5:15-5:30 pm\nSunday\, June 28: Parent drop off at Dayton Campus 7:15-7:45am; pick up from Camp Joy 1 pm.\nParents are invited to the 1 pm closing ceremony remembering loved ones with their child.\n**There will NOT be transportation back to the Dayton Campus on Sunday.** \nREGISTRATION:\nSpace is limited.
