Mission Moment: When the Road Gets Rough, We Keep Rolling
When you’re transporting a patient who needs urgent symptom management, every minute counts. On April 27, NEMT Jordan Wallace from our Innovative Care Solutions (ICS) Mobile Care Unit team showed what true dedication looks like while serving a patient at Ohio’s Hospice.

While transporting a patient from their home to our Hospice House through downtown Dayton, the ambulance got a flat tire. With weekend tow services unable to guarantee a timely response, Jordan didn’t hesitate. He jumped into action and changed the tire himself on the side of a busy road.
This is what superior care and superior services looks like in action. Jordan’s quick thinking and selfless response ensured our patient received the critical symptom management they needed without delay.
Thank you, Jordan, for exemplifying the compassionate care that defines our teammates at ICS and Ohio’s Hospice. Your dedication makes a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
