National Hospice and Palliative Care Month: The Ohio’s Hospice Difference
For more than four decades, Ohio’s Hospice has led the way in pioneering world-class supportive care and services that set the standard for not-for-profit, community-based hospice and palliative care.
Today, we are honored and privileged to continue building on that legacy of Celebrating Life Stories® for those we serve by providing superior care and superior services to patients and families throughout Ohio.

During the month of November, we join organizations across the country in observing National Hospice and Palliative Care Month. This is a time to recognize the importance of hospice and palliative care in improving quality of life for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses.
As a not-for-profit, community-based hospice organization, Ohio’s Hospice provides compassionate, individualized end-of-life care wherever patients call home, whether in an assisted living facility, long-term care facility, private home, or one of our Hospice Houses. Our interdisciplinary care teams include board-certified hospice and palliative care physicians, hospice-certified nurses, personal care specialists, social workers, chaplains, bereavement counseling professionals, and volunteers who work together to support both patients and families.
We’re also committed to providing palliative care expertise to improve quality of life and relief from pain for individuals living with serious illnesses. Palliative care can be provided at any time during an illness, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
