Neighbors Supporting Neighbors at Dover Golf Classic for Ohio’s Hospice
Annual event brings together community to support mission of Celebrating Life’s Stories®
Ohio’s Hospice is grateful to the community for its support of the 2025 Ohio’s Hospice Dover Golf Classic, held Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Union Country Club. The event brought together 140 golfers and community sponsors, raising $48,000 to support superior care and superior services for patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses in the community.

As a not-for-profit, community-based hospice, Ohio’s Hospice is able to continue celebrating the lives of those it has the privilege of serving by providing superior care and superior services to each patient and family, regardless of their ability to pay.
“We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated in this year’s Golf Classic,” said a spokesperson for Ohio’s Hospice. “This event exemplifies the compassion and generosity of our community. Every dollar raised helps us continue our mission of Celebrating Life’s Stories by providing world-class hospice care when families need it most.”
Ohio’s Hospice extends special appreciation to Union Country Club for hosting the event and to the dedicated event committee members who made the day possible: Mona Sayre, Kelsie Gunnoe, Angie Tango, Karen Stokey, Karon Baker and Pam Frank. Additional thanks to the day of volunteers who ensured a successful event.
The event was made possible through the generous support of sponsors, including Allied Machine & Engineering, Dover Hydraulics Inc., Lauren International, Tango & Gatti, Stark Truss, Holmes Rental & Sales Inc., Charm Builders, Kennedy Insurance, In Loving Memory of Rick Baker, Fitzpatrick, Zimmerman & Rose Co. LPA, The Cavalena Group/Raymond James, First Federal Community Bank, Weininger Dental LLC, Bloom’s Printing & Design, Hanhart Agency Inc., GKG and Associates, Swiss Auto Mart and Ferris Chevrolet.
