A Month to Scatter Kindness™: Celebrating Kindvember®
Every day we have the privilege of serving patients and families in their most vulnerable moments. Showing kindness and compassion during these difficult times is just one of the ways Ohio’s Hospice provides superior care and superior services.

Each year during National Hospice and Palliative Care Month in November, we celebrate Kindvember®. Kindvember is an Ohio’s Hospice initiative that honors the importance of kindness in our mission.
During Kindvember, we invite the community to join us and take time to Scatter Kindness™ and share a bit of good will in any way you can. It is important to be kind to others, including loved ones, neighbors, friends, co-workers and yourself.
Words can have a positive effect on someone. A neighbor could be going through a rough time at home or work, and a simple sentence could really change their outlook.
Here are a few examples of how you can speak kindness:
- Write a positive note and leave it in a random place.
- Tell someone you are grateful for them.
- Ask someone about their day and really listen.

To share in our efforts to scatter kindness around our community, we invite you to download our 30 Days of Kindness Calendar, which includes 30 ideas and examples of kindness in action.
We also have digital stickers you can download to share with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, or yourself! To download the stickers, right click the image and choose “Save Image As…” or drag the image to your desktop.
Thank you for helping us Scatter Kindness across the state of Ohio in the communities we are honored and privileged to serve!
