American Pride Pinning and Presentation
Ohio’s Hospice Chief of Veterans Services Glenn Costie will offer a presentation on “American Pride — Ohio’s Hospice Volunteers Serving Veterans” at the Monthly Veterans Museum Coffee on February 6 at the Masonic Temple, 107 W Main St., Troy. Costie will speak about Ohio’s Hospice, including Hospice of Miami County, now providing services to veterans in more than 30 counties in Ohio. American Pride, Veteran care by Ohio’s Hospice, is a program to celebrate the lives of Veterans and honor all veterans for their service. Vets Visiting Vets is part of the American Pride program that partners those who have served with Veterans in hospice care, providing visits to veterans in hospitals, assisted care centers and hospice centers. The program will also feature an update from Veterans Museum executive director Karen Purke on museum events, including campaigns and plans for 2019.
