Brittney Chadeayne

Brittney Chadeayne of Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton Recognized With DAISY Award

Outstanding members of the Ohio’s Hospice staff are recognized every quarter with Bouquet of Recognition Awards. Bouquet of Recognition Award honorees personify the qualities found in the Mission and Vision of Ohio’s Hospice and are the foundation upon which a remarkable patient experience is built. These staff members consistently demonstrate excellence through their expertise and extraordinary compassionate support for patients and families. They are recognized as outstanding role models in our hospice community.

Brittney Chadeayne, LPN crisis care at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, was nominated for the DAISY Award for her kindness and patient advocacy. While caring for a patient in the mobile care unit who was waiting to be transferred back to his home, Brittney played his favorite music, ensured he was comfortable and had his wife and dog with him. Brittney made the process go smoothly and remained positive during the challenging situation.

“She is the perfect example of what a hospice nurse is and should always strive to be,” said Kristy Brock, team leader of crisis care at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. “This was not the first time Brittney managed a difficult situation in a way that made a difference. I am amazed by her heart and genuine concern for her patients.”

Congratulations to Brittney and thanks to her for her service to our mission.
