The first in a series of quarterly presentations by Hospice of Dayton for members of the clergy is slated for Thursday, February 12.

Hospice of Dayton invited members of the clergy to discuss how best to partner in addressing the needs of those terminally ill in the community.  The first of the quarterly programs in response to their interests will focus m Matters of the Heart – Funeral Myths and Planning and Advance Directives.   The program will be held at the Kroc Salvation Army Center, 1000 North Keowee St. from 10 am to 12 pm.  Lunch will be included along with a networking opportunity from 12 to 1 pm.

Clergy members who are interested in attending can contact Kim Vesey, Vice President of Mission Support with Hospice of Dayton, at 256-8142 or via email at kvesey@hospiceofdayton.org.  The goal of the quarterly presentations, according to Vesey, is to provide local members of clergy with resources and support for ministering to the sick, dying and grieving members of congregations in the Miami Valley.
