Community Care Hospice Nurse Honored

Every quarter we honor outstanding staff members for their contributions to our mission. Each of our disciplines is recognized as part of our Bouquet of Recognition. Here is our most recent recipient:

Daisy Award

Angie Osborne, LPN

“Not only were you there for the care of my mother, you were also there for the family” wrote one family member in nominating Angie for the Daisy Award. “Thank you for guiding us through this difficult process.”

Another family member expressed appreciation for Angie’s sensitivity to her brother’s needs. “She saw that he was startled easily by noise, so she kept his room quiet and played music that he liked.” In submitting Angie’s name for the Daisy nomination, the family member also noted that “Angie had a great way of bringing humor to difficult situations…She printed out a picture of a sunset that she had on her phone and gave it to me because I though it was a pretty sunset. That picture reminds me of peace and hope. That’s what Angie gave to me and my family. She really deserves this award.”

Thank you, Angie, for serving the Ohio’s Hospice mission with your full heart.
