Nikki Frazier To Be Recognized at 2026 Cameos of Caring Award Ceremony

Congratulations Nikki Frazier, one of the Wright State University College of Health, Education, and Human Services, School of Nursing 2026 Cameos of Caring® recipients.

Nicole “Nikki” Frazier serves as a South Care Region Crisis Care LPN. She joined the Ohio’s Hospice team in 2023 and has cared for hospice patients and families for 9 years of her career.

Congratulations Nikki Frazier Cameo of Caring Award Recipient

Nikki exemplifies the values of kindness, compassion, honesty, and servant leadership and is often recognized for the superior care and superior services she provides. The wife of a patient shared, “Nikki made me feel heard and respected and her gentle spirit was felt by my husband who smiled at Nikki when he hadn’t smiled in weeks.”

Nikki consistently exhibits what would be considered one of the most important aspects of our mission – servant leadership. A teammate states, “her willingness to step in wherever help is needed speaks to Nikki’s character and her deep commitment to patient-centered care.” She provides support to her patients and families and ensures the care team understands their needs and expectations.

With a true hospice heart, Nikki embodies what it means to be a hospice nurse. Nikki has received several nominations for the DAISY® Award and has been recognized as a Star Performer.

One thing Nikki would like other nurses coming up in the field to understand is how important it is to lead with empathy. She shares, “skills can be taught, but compassion comes from the heart.”

Nikki will be recognized at the 26th annual Cameos of Caring® Award Ceremony, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026.
