We join in celebrating the life of Norma Bauerschmidt, who recently passed away.
Norma spent the last year of her life on the road and posting to Facebook about her travels instead of fighting the cancer she was diagnosed with two days after her husband died. Norma opted instead to hit the highway with her family and spend her last remaining days living fully.

As mentioned in her obituary, Norma was born in Toledo, OH and served as a nurse during World War II in the U.S. Navy Women Accepted for Voluntary Emergency Service (WAVES). She has done many fascinating things such as appearing as a VIP guest at an NBA game, touring the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier, enjoyed a hot-air balloon ride, to list a few.
