Ohio’s Hospice to Host 2025 Golf Classic in Wilmington

Community event supports superior care and services for local patients and families

Ohio’s Hospice will host its 2025 Golf Classic on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Elks 797 Golf Course in Wilmington, Ohio. The event offers community members an opportunity to enjoy a day of golf while supporting the organization’s mission to provide superior end-of-life care throughout the region.

“This Golf Classic brings our community together for a day of fellowship and fun while making a meaningful difference in the lives of local patients and families,” said a spokesperson for Ohio’s Hospice. “Every registration and sponsorship helps ensure we can continue providing compassionate, superior hospice care to those who need it most.” 

The event features 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch, drinks, snacks and games of chance. Registration begins at 11 am, with lunch at 11:30 am and a shotgun start at noon. Awards will be presented at 5 pm. The cost is $95 per golfer or $350 per team of four, with all net proceeds benefiting Ohio’s Hospice patient care and services. 

As a not-for-profit, community-based hospice organization, Ohio’s Hospice provides compassionate end-of-life care for people facing life-limiting illnesses or injuries. The organization’s interdisciplinary care teams work together to provide expert medical care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support tailored to each patient’s needs, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

Registration is first-come, first-served, and the event typically sells out quickly. Sponsorship opportunities remain available for businesses and organizations looking to support the mission of Ohio’s Hospice.
