Ohio’s Hospice to Host Celebrating Life’s Stories® Butterfly Release on Sept. 20 in Troy
Ohio’s Hospice will host its annual Celebrating Life’s Stories® Butterfly Release on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice in Troy (3230 N. County Rd. 25A, Troy, OH, 45373) to honor and remember special people who have touched our lives and live on in our memories.

After a brief program, participants will listen to live music and release butterflies in memory of loved ones. If individuals cannot attend, butterflies can be purchased and released on their behalf.
“The Butterfly Release embodies our commitment to Celebrating Life’s Stories,” said a spokesperson for Ohio’s Hospice. “This event not only provides a meaningful way for our community to remember loved ones, but also supports our mission of delivering superior care and superior services. We’re grateful for the continued participation and support of the community that allows us to bring comfort and supportive care to patients and families when they need it most.”
Registration for the butterfly release is required. The cost is $20 for each butterfly. Net proceeds benefit patient care and services at Ohio’s Hospice, including grief counseling and financial assistance for patients unable to pay for their care. Ohio’s Hospice is grateful to the community for continued support of its mission.
