Welcome to the Story Garden

Reflecting back on our experiences and sharing stories are one of the ways that we maintain our human connections. At Ohio’s Hospice part of our mission is to celebrate the lives of those we have the privilege of serving by providing superior care and superior services to each patient and family.

We hope that you find our suggestions helpful in sharing and recording some of the stories that matter to you.

Tips

Stories and experiences that we have can sometimes feel like they fade with time. Our suggestions here hopefully can help you find a way to spark a memory and keep a record of the moments that matter.

• Use a journal or notebook to write down thoughts and memories.
• Use your smartphone or other device capable of recording.
• Hum or sing songs with your loved ones.
• Read meaningful passages or prose with your loved ones.
• Look through family photos together.
• Watch family videos together.
• Hold your loved ones hand as you reminisce about your special memories.
