Unveiling of Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County Hospice House
Earlier this summer, Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County celebrated the grand opening of its world-class Hospice House with a ribbon-cutting event at the new facility (3230 N. County Rd. 25A, Troy, Ohio 45373).
Located on the campus of Upper Valley Medical Center, the new Hospice House serves hospice patients who require a higher level of care than they can receive at home. It provides pain and comfort management for patients and allows family members to rest and receive support from the staff of Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County in a beautiful setting.
The 31,180-square-foot Hospice House provides a home-like environment for patients facing the end of life. It also houses the administrative offices that support the interdisciplinary care team. The Hospice House includes training rooms for staff and volunteers, and a community education room.
Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County is honored and privileged to meet the needs of the community through the new Hospice House.
