Community Comes Together at 2025 Ohio’s Hospice Golf Classic, Raising $16,201 for Local Families
74 golfers unite in support of Celebrating Life’s Stories® mission
Ohio’s Hospice is grateful to the community for its support of the 2025 Ohio’s Hospice Golf Classic, held Friday, Aug. 29, at Elks 797 Golf Club in Wilmington, OH. The event raised $16,201 to support superior care and superior services for patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses in the community.

The longstanding annual event brought together 74 golfers and community sponsors, strengthening partnerships while raising funds that will be allocated directly to providing superior end-of-life care in the area.
“We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated in this year’s Golf Classic,” said a spokesperson for Ohio’s Hospice. “This event exemplifies the compassion and generosity of our community. Every dollar raised helps us continue our mission of Celebrating Life’s Stories® by providing world-class hospice care when families need it most.”
Ohio’s Hospice extends special appreciation to Elks 797 Golf Club for graciously hosting the event and to the dedicated volunteers and committee members who made the day possible, including Judy Havens, Sydney Munch, Sara Monroe, Sarah Ingram, Phil French, Kim Parrish, Katie Bottorff of Trustwell Living Bell Gardens Place, Taylor Parsons of Wilmington Nursing & Rehabilitation, and Hailey Hartshorn of Court House Manor & St. Catherine’s Manor of WCH.
The event was made possible through the generous support of sponsors, led by Eagle Sponsor Fraternal Order of Eagles 1161, Birdie Sponsors New Sabina Industries and Millcraft, and numerous additional community partners.
Ohio’s Hospice plans to continue this event in the future, with tentative plans to return to Elks 797 Golf Club on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026.
