October 12-18 is Ohio Advance Directive Week
Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton is joining in efforts to highlight the importance of advance healthcare decision-making as part of Ohio Advance Directives Week. As a participating organization, Hospice of Dayton is providing information and tools for the public to talk about their wishes with family, friends and healthcare providers, and execute written advance directives (healthcare power of attorney and a living will) in accordance with Ohio state laws. These resources are available by clicking here.
Having conversations with loved ones and completing reliable advance directives to make wishes known is an important part of healthcare choice and decision-making. By sharing advance directives, families and healthcare providers can carry out the wishes of patients with peace of mind.
