Ohio’s Hospice Extends Heartfelt Thanks On National Thrift Shop Day
Thrift shops don’t just help people save money on household items. They help Ohio’s Hospice support its patients and families. In honor of National Thrift Shop Day and National NonProfit Day on Aug. 17, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Friendtique, a boutique resale shop in Wooster, and other local resale shops that support our mission around Ohio.

A recent $10,000 donation from Friendtique to Ohio’s Hospice | Wooster helped the shop top their $1.5 million in lifetime donations to the mission of Ohio’s Hospice, highlighting the importance of local resale shops and how a community can make a big impact.
Located in downtown Wooster, Friendtique features furniture, artwork, household goods, décor, antique glassware, and jewelry. Friendtique’s sister store, NEST, is a curated selection of some of the higher-end vintage home finds donated to Friendtique.
In addition to Friendtique and NEST, our Browse & Buy stores, located in Dover and Carrollton, allow the communities they serve to access reasonably priced and slightly used household items in support of our mission.
Items in these stores are donated from community members. Our For All Seasons gift boutique, located in the downtown Troy Main Street Shops, sells seasonal and home decor, children’s gifts, stationery and cards, and jewelry. All proceeds support the Ohio’s Hospice mission of providing superior care and superior services to our patients and families.
