Community Gathers to Honor Loved Ones at Ohio’s Hospice Golf Classic in Wooster
65 golfers raise $14,100 to support mission of Celebrating Life’s Stories®
Ohio’s Hospice is grateful to the community for its support of the 2025 Ohio’s Hospice Golf Classic, held Friday, Aug. 22, at The Pines Golf Club, 1319 N. Milbourne Rd., Orrville, Ohio 44667. The event raised $14,100 to support patient care and services for patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses in the community.

The event brought together 65 golfers and community sponsors, raising funds that will be allocated directly to providing superior care and superior services to each patient and family, regardless of their ability to pay.
“We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated in this year’s Golf Classic,” said a spokesperson for Ohio’s Hospice. “This event exemplifies the compassion and generosity of our community. Every dollar raised helps us continue our mission of Celebrating Life’s Stories® by providing world-class hospice care when families need it most.”
Ohio’s Hospice extends special appreciation to The Pines Golf Club for hosting the event and to the dedicated event committee members Mona Sayre, Adrianne Veatch and Kelsie Gunnoe, as well as volunteers Wendy Fetter and Kristen Geiser, who made the day possible.
The event was made possible through the generous support of sponsors, including Charm Builders, The Wooster Brush Company, Wooster Color Point, Millersburg Eagles FOE 2418, Trillium Creek Dermatology, Gordon and Beverly Zemrock, Annette Fejes, Bogner Construction, Seaman Corporation and Paul Speelman.
Ohio’s Hospice plans to continue this event in the future.
