A True Patriot: Hospice Patient Honored for Service
At Ohio’s Hospice, we believe Veterans deserve nothing less than superior care delivered with the dignity and honor they’ve earned through their service and patriotism.
Through American Pride® Veteran Care by Ohio’s Hospice, each Veteran patient is invited to participate in a special recognition ceremony where they receive an American Pride pin, presented by a fellow Veteran Volunteer.
Steve Yurick was honored at Ohio’s Hospice in Wooster in January by volunteer Roger Miller. He honorably served in the United States Coast Guard from 1962-1987 and was a Marine Inspector at the time of his retirement.
Steve died Jan. 16, not long after the ceremony.
