Ohio’s Hospice to Hold Butterfly Release on July 30 in New Philadelphia
Ohio’s Hospice will host its annual Celebrating Life’s Stories® Butterfly Release on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the Ohio’s Hospice Dr. Leslie Harrold Community Campus (716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663). The ceremony begins at 6 pm.

The Celebrating Life’s Stories® Butterfly Release is a way to remember and honor special people who have touched our lives and live on in our memories. After a short program including music, butterflies are distributed and released around the pond in an area surrounded by woods as an opportunity to remember a loved one or special person. Attendees can also choose to take butterflies to a special place of their choosing, including their home or a cemetery. This event is open to everyone, regardless of whether you’ve had a loved one in our care.
Registration for the butterfly release is required. The cost is $20 for each butterfly. Net proceeds benefit patient care and services at Ohio’s Hospice, including grief counseling and financial assistance for patients unable to pay for their care. Ohio’s Hospice is grateful to the community for continued support of its mission.
