Celebrating Life’s Stories During Pride Month and Always
Each year, during the month of June, the LGBTQ+ community celebrates Pride Month in a variety of ways. The month recognizes and celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and helps to raise awareness of current issues and needs facing members of the community.
At Ohio’s Hospice, we’re honored and privileged to serve the LGBTQ+ community with hospice and palliative care. During Pride Month and every month, we remember that quality healthcare requires environments where every individual feels valued and respected. We take time to recognize and express our appreciation for the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community to our nation.
This observance reinforces our ongoing dedication to providing superior care and superior services that are inclusive to all members of our community. Our interdisciplinary care teams are trained to work sensitively with all patients and families, ensuring that everyone receives the compassionate end-of-life care they deserve. Our team members are as diverse as the communities in which we are privileged to serve, bringing a range of varied perspectives and experiences that enrich the care we provide, ensuring that everyone receives the same high standard of care during life’s most meaningful moments.
