Wooster Annual Golf Outing Tops $14K
Ohio’s Hospice is grateful to the community for its support of the 2026 Golf Classic. Sixty members of the community participated in the annual golf outing Aug. 21 at The Pines Golf Club in Orrville, raising over $14,000 for Ohio Hospice patient care and services in Wooster.
Proceeds from the outing help provide for the quality-of-life needs of our patients facing life-limiting illnesses and important bereavement support to their families.
“We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated in this year’s Golf Classic,” said a spokesperson for Ohio’s Hospice. “This event exemplifies the compassion and generosity of our community. Every dollar raised helps us continue our mission of Celebrating Life’s Stories® by providing world-class hospice care when families need it most.”
Ohio’s Hospice extends special appreciation to The Pines Golf Club for hosting the event and to the dedicated event committee members, as well as volunteers Kristen Geiser and Dave McFarland.
