Light Up A Life - Ohio's Hospice Of Central Ohio

Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio Invites Community to Support 32nd Annual Light Up a Life

Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio invites the community to join in supporting its mission by making a donation and memorializing a loved one through its 32nd annual Light Up a Life annual fund campaign.

This year’s Light Up a Life will be done virtually, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With each gift, donors are supporting a patient and honoring a loved one. They can view the tree being lit up online with each donation. The online event will begin Nov. 12 and will conclude on Dec. 22.

“For more than 30 years, community members have supported the Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio Light Up a Life annual fund campaign with generous donations,” said Stacy Geller, vice president of philanthropic development at Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio. “Charitable gifts allow Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio to offer services that provide comfort, dignity and meaning to patients and families facing end-of-life illnesses.”

For more information and to participate in Light Up a Life, visit the Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio website at www.HospiceofCentralOhio.org/Light-Up-A-Life-2021 or call 740.788.1488.

Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio, an affiliate of Ohio’s Hospice, has provided a holistic, community-based approach to hospice care since 1982. With locations in Newark, Columbus, Lancaster and Zanesville, the not-for-profit organization serves nine counties in central Ohio and is dedicated to supporting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses. In addition, two inpatient care centers at Licking Memorial Hospital and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center are available for symptom management.
