Ohio’s Hospice will host its annual Celebrating Life’s Stories^® Butterfly Release on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Davis-Shai House (301 Central Pkwy., Heath, OH 43056) to honor and remember special people who have touched our lives and live on in our memories.

After a brief program, participants will listen to live music and release butterflies in memory of loved ones. If individuals cannot attend, butterflies can be purchased and released on their behalf. 

“Butterflies have long been a symbol of transformation, hope and the beauty of life,” said a spokesperson from Ohio’s Hospice. “Our annual Celebrating Life’s Stories Butterfly Release event allows participants to honor and remember their loved ones in a truly special way. By coming together for this special occasion, we not only support the vital work of Ohio’s Hospice but also create a space for shared remembrance and healing.” 

Registration for the butterfly release is required. The cost is $20 for each butterfly. Net proceeds benefit patient care and services at Ohio’s Hospice, including grief counseling and financial assistance for patients unable to pay for their care. Ohio’s Hospice is grateful to the community for continued support of its mission.
