Ohio’s Hospice to Host Celebrating Life’s Stories® Butterfly Release on June 8 in Wooster
Ohio’s Hospice will host its annual Celebrating Life’s Stories® Butterfly Release on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice in Wooster (1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691) to honor and remember special people who have touched our lives and live on in our memories.

The event will be held behind the main building next to the pond. After a brief program, participants will listen to live music and release butterflies in memory of loved ones. If individuals cannot attend, butterflies can be purchased and released on their behalf.
“Releasing butterflies in honor and memory of a loved one is a beautiful site that stays with you,” said Mona Sayre, development director. “This event supports our mission and helps the community to heal through memories of their loved ones.”
Registration for the butterfly release is required. The cost is $20 for each butterfly. Net proceeds benefit patient care and services at Ohio’s Hospice, including grief counseling and financial assistance for patients unable to pay for their care. Ohio’s Hospice is grateful to the community for continued support of its mission.
Please visit www.OhiosHospice.org/ButterflyWST25 to register. The registration deadline is Friday, May 19, 2025.
